Mango Tropical Ice Cream Recipe

Nothing screams summer like the blooming of mango trees all around, especially in Miami. Every week I come home with an arm full of fresh mangoes that I collect from the trees at the girls school. Even the house we are looking to purchase has a mango tree!!! This mango tropical ice cream recipe is the perfect sweet treat to help you beat the heat of summer!

This mango tropical ice cream is a sweet fruity cold treat that is sure to help you beat the heat of summer! Choose a milk or passion fruit juice base. 

Mango Tropical Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 Cups fresh cream

¾ Cup milk

¾ Cup sugar (adjust according to the sweetness of the mangoes)

1½ Cups mango puree

Directions

In a bowl, add fresh cream and beat for 5 minutes.

Add the mango puree and sugar, and beat for 5-6 minutes.

While mixing add the milk, and mix until smooth and fluffy.

Let it cool for 2 hours in the fridge.

Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker machine and let it mix according the instructions.

Serve, top with some mango, and enjoy.

Cool Tip: Instead of milk you can mix the fresh cream and mango with some passion fruit juice to make it more tropical.

  • This sounds so good!!! I miss that about Florida, you can find mangoes so many places, sometimes coconuts, too. The mangoes up north don’t taste as good, they must be picking them green for shipping.
