I don’t get to do much shopping for myself because I simply don’t have/make the time for it. My time is always spent doing things for my children, my husband, Poochi and anyone else that asks for something.
Lately I find myself falling into the subscription box craze. Some I love, others I only like, and well, some others I totally hate. I digress. Even so, many of the boxes we receive are for Papa or the girls. Once in a whole I try a new one for myself, but I’m more often disappointed than not.
The reason for that has more to do with my idea of what a subscription box should be. I always try to calculate if I would have ever bought those same items, whether at retail, or even for the discounted price of the box. More so at the discount price.
I was however excited when Wantable reached out to me asking if I would like to review one of their boxes. Since I’ve previously reviewed the Wantable Makeup box and the Wantable Accessories box, I opted for the Wantable Intimates box. I’ve actually been dying to check that one out. Not just for me, but for ME! Lol.
It did not disappoint in the least bit. I was beyond overjoyed when I saw the contents of the box! While I enjoyed both of the other boxes, I absolutely LOVE this Intimates box! I was nervous about sizing, but they actually carry a range of sizes, even for bigger girls like me.
First up is the Carrier Amber Shaping Tunic, Made by Seven ’til Midnight. It arrived in a black color and is just what I’ve needed. I’ve really been longing for a shaper, but have always either forgotten to look for one while at the store, or too embarrassed to try to find one that might fit. I’m by no means petite and need as much help as possible to achieve a nice look in a dress or skirt. Other shapers I have used before tend to slip down or curl up on me, causing more discomfort than if I wasn’t wearing one at all.
The Carrier Amber Shaping Tunic smoothed and shapes your tummy, waist, and bottom for a stunning silhouette. You can wear any bra you want with it for maximum comfort and retails for $26.
Next up and out of the box were two pairs of fun and flirty panties.
A girl can never have too many panties. I love hipster and cheeky style panties. Although a year ago it would be outside my norm to buy these types, I have slowly adapted to the spicy feeling they produce when I wear them. They make me feel good, and as Mama’s we deserve to feel good! Out with the grandma panties and in with the I am woman, hear me roar, panties. They feel smooth and comfortable on me and I was ecstatic to receive two fun pairs of panties.
The first was Made by Honeydew, the Scarlette Rayon Hipster in Jinx/Voodew. It features a soft fabric accented with lace trim and a mesh polka dot print in the back and retails for $14.
The second by was a Lace Trim Cheeky in Neon Lime made by Eighty One Enterprises. It features a shorter cut in the back, allowing you to show just enough bare skin and features a breathable, mesh fabric accented with a lace trim and retails for $8.
Last, but by no means least, was the end all be all for me. Out of the box emerged a beautiful babydoll piece called Falling For You Babydoll and made by the same cheeky underwear company I mentioned above, Eighty One Enterprises. This was definitely my absolutely favorite item in the box. I slipped it on during our weekend getaway a few weeks ago, Papa definitely took notice. But more importantly, I felt like a rock star.
Falling For You Babydoll with matching Thong, this beautiful Babydoll features a pretty purple mesh accented with sultry black lace and retails for $30. Note from Wantable: this baby doll comes with a matching thong so we added it in as a free bonus item. If you’re not into throngs, you can toss it or give it away. (Um, yeah, NOT!).
Going by my list of loves, likes and dislikes, I can certainly say I didn’t receive anything on the dislike side. The shapewear definitely came out of my likes category, the panties are a cross between likes and loves, and the babydoll is definitely from my love list.
Wantable truly helped make me feel wantable. I know many Mama’s could use a nice pick me up post pregnancy, and this box was exactly that for me! Order Wantable for yourself, or a friend, and let them know they are wantable too.

Love – Loungewear, Tanks, Soft Bras, Fun & Flirty, Neutrals
Like – Panties, Socks, Shapewear, Brights
Dislikes – Hoisery, Accesories, Tights/Leggings, Camis, Pretty & Polished.

One time $40
Monthly Subscription $36 ($4 savings off one time)
All in all I received items with a total ARV of $78. That makes the savings around 50% off retail prices. This is wild. I have never heard of this subscription box before your post. I follow a ton of blogs, but this is the first I have heard of it. will have to check it out, and it also sounds like a great gift idea.
Wow I have never heard of this kind of thing. I love to wear pretty nighties so I will be looking into subscribing. I too am a mom and never buy anything for myself. I deserve this 🙂
