Once again I am a bit puzzled about the selection process in comparison to my preferences as I was with my accessories box. For starters I specifically stated that I disliked Bronzer and Complexion Products, so I don’t know why I would receive a Foundation Brush with the exception of “Love” tools. Yes, I love nail polish, but nail wraps? They look interesting and like a fun new thing to try! The lip gloss and eye shadow are spot on.
So here is the good, bad and ugly:
The Brush – Sturdy brush for the application of foundation. I wish they would have sent a lip or eye liner “tool”. In fact, I was thinking more along the lines of tweezers, or nail clippers, when I clicked Love for tools. Not sure what I can use this for. Yes it’s a tool, but not a tool I will need. I am shocked by the $36 ARV. Do brushes really cost this much? And what is Taklon anyhow?
The Eye Shadow – Superb color. Love the glimmer of it. Can’t wait to use it. Nice compact size for a full size and fits right into my pocket. This will look fabulous for Christmas.
The Nail Wraps – In line with nail care and polish, these wraps love like a fun and quick way to color your nails. The pattern of this one in particular leaves much to be desired. It’s too loud for my use, but I am sure my friend will love them.
The Lip Gloss – I love it! Such a great color and easy to apply. I hope Em doesn’t try to steal it from me. Definitely an everyday type of gloss.
The Filler – Samples are always great. It will be cool to see how this works. Getting older stinks and I am not one to opt for any kind of elective surgery. I need natural products that solve the problems of aging.
So what does it cost for this box of accessories? You can order just one box or subscribe. Subscribers can cancel or skip a month anytime, no questions asked. You can even send a gift subscription to a friend!
One time $40
Monthly Subscription $36 ($4 savings off one time)
All in all I received items with a total ARV of $83. That makes the savings over 50% off retail prices. I am hesitant to try new styles, so getting items that are different are a great way to introduce myself to new things. Receiving this box was like receiving a surprise birthday gift. So why not celebrate YOU on a monthly basis and treat yourself to a monthly subscription. It’s time to discover the new you!

I’ve been thinking about subbing to a couple more beauty boxes. I’ll have to think about Wantable. I’ve never really looked at them before. 🙂
