Summer is here and our summer adventures are taking us near and far. We love a good road trip, but when you are spending hours in the car you end up creating quite a mess. The amount of crumbs and other unidentifiable objects I typically find wedged into and under the girls car seats is immeasurable. But it’s not only the inside that gets dirty, the outside of the car is dealing with all sorts of elements during our travels like bugs, rain, and sometimes even a splash or two of mud. Save time this summer with these tips for keeping your car clean in between summer adventures.
Tips for Keeping Your Car Clean
– Keep a plastic shopping bag in the car and toss trash into it instead of on the floor
– Avoid eating in the car, especially snacks that crush and crumble easily
– Get the kids involved in washing the car, they’ll have fun playing in the water on a hot summer day
– Use 303 Automotive Speed Detailer for in between washes
Since washing the car can take a bit of time, I use the Speed Detailer from 303 Automotive as a cleaner for in between washes. It instantly shines and protects the exterior surfaces and is great on clear coat, fiberglass, plastics, chrome and windows too!
To keep the car spotless on the inside and dust from settling, I use the Protectant from the 303 Automotive line of products. It helps to keep surfaces like my dashboard and center console looking newer, and repels dust, lint and staining. The hot Florida sun beats down on the dashboard all day long and having something to protect it is important. Traveling with little ones my car could use all the protection I can provide and the 303 Automotive Protectant protects all vinyl, rubber and plastics without leaving an oily or greasy feel behind because it leaves a dry matte finish while brightening the surfaces.

Hello . Test
I had a heck of a time with a dark tacky substance on the back of our Subaru. Turns our it was popsicle abandoned there by one of the kids that took on other substances as it got stickier. It was horrible.
I live in Florida also and the hot sun can wreak havock on the car. I also have two young grandchildren that could mess up the inside in a heartbeat. I have never heard of this product but I will be giving it a try. Thank you so much for sharing
I have had to clean so much crap over the years it is hard to remember. Mostly the normal stuff like candy and gum.
I had to clean dog poopy. My dog was at the beginning of a chicken allergy, and on the way to vet she just sat there and went, omg, it was too gross. Glad that is over.
I think my dog just ate cat poop he found in the yard. I don’t want to know what that is going to look like coming back out.
Thank you for this post.
I really appreciate this post. I have been looking everywhere for this! Thank goodness I found it on Bing. You’ve made my day! Thanks again!
