The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook Giveaway – Ends 11/3 (US)

The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook

The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook: Inside the Kitchens, Bars, and Restaurants of Mad Men brings you into the culinary world of Mad Men-era New York, just in time for the holiday season. This book, by veteran cookbook author Judy Gelman and writer Peter Zheutlin, includes more than 70 recipes for food and drink that were featured in episodes of Mad Men. You will find historical pictures of New York, as well as period details, commentary, and full color photos.

Because it is wine-o’clock (as my friend calls it) somewhere, grab this recipe book and show your friends that you know how to really mix it up (pun intended lol)!  I bet it would make a great birthday or even housewarming gift too.

Some of the recipes are from famous New York hotels, bars, and restaurants like Sardi, Barbetta, and The Pierre Hotel and include full ingredient lists and preparation instructions. This cookbook is great for history buffs, Mad Men fans, and those interested in 1960s wining and dining.

  • Mad Men is one of the most fun shows on television and represents a piece of my personal past as well. Even though it is set in the sixties it is still surprisingly relevant today and always tremendously entertaining. I’m sure the unofficial cookbook will be a lot of fun too.

  • My husband would love this book. I am excited because I used to live in NY and don’t have the chance to go there a lot. The recipes can bring me back to New York Style food that i don’t get the chance to eat anymore
