Teach Your Baby To Walk With The Juppy – The No Bending Solution

Disclosure: I received the following product for review purposes.

Teaching your baby to learn how to walk can be quite the taxing exercise, especially for back pain sufferers. We used classic mobile  walkers for J-bird and Em. They are great but present their own set of dangers, especially in homes with staircases. Some people might even tell you that mobile walkers actually detract from teaching children how to properly walk. But either way you aren’t going to carry a mobile walker with you everywhere you go. It’s simply not feasible.

When you’ve got a child in the midst of learning to walk, they want to do it everywhere they go. Luckily there is a new kind of “walker” that is truly mobile and  you can take it anywhere you go. The most uncomfortable position of hovering over your little one, bent over to reach their little arms in front of you is a worry of the past. For someone like myself with lower back pain, the torture of teaching our children to walk takes over the joyous moments for such an important milestone.juppylogo

The Juppy Momentum helps babies learn to walk safely while making the experience much more pleasant for the parents. For many parents teaching their child to walk has been a challenge that although was recognized went unresolved. This is where the life saving (or rather back saving) Juppy “Momentum” comes in to the rescue. When your little one shows signs that they are ready to begin walking but are not yet strong enough to walk alone, the Juppy comes in to build confidence and teach balance. All while saving you from excruciating back pain.

The Juppy has easily adjustable straps that will accommodate to almost any height, whether you are 4’11” or 6’11”. It also comes with soft hand grips and a color matched zipper in the back of the Juppy for safety, easy access and exit. The back zipper is covered by two Velcro straps that overlap for added safety. The Juppy comes in a one size fits all (baby weight not to exceed 35lbs). Made from 100% cotton that is machine washable.

The pros are outlined above…..any cons? Only that I would love to see a thicker, more padded material used for the product. Especially for the areas under the arms and the crotch.  I think this can be accomplished without compromising its lightweight feature.

The Juppy does its job of assisting you, and is not meant to carry or swing a child around in, remember its just a walking assistant to be used with your help.

Unlike mobile walkers, you can be confidant that your child will always be safe because they will always be right in front of you! It comes with a convenient carry bag so you can drop it into your diaper bag or purse and take it everywhere you go.

You can purchase the Juppy on Amazon by clicking here. It is available in several color patterns to suit your style, blue/black, pink/black and yellow/black.
