What is one thing that your family does weekly, together? Ours hosts a game night on Thursday! It’s a tradition we’ve carried on since Jason was tween. The girls love when it’s their turn to pick out a board game for game night. Little do they know that after they head off to bed, it’s the tweens and young adults turn. And then there’s Mama’s Night In aka adult-only board game night.
Finding quality time to spend with the family seems to get harder and harder. Everyone’s schedule is so full lately, so I am bringing my family back together for the return of family game night at Mama’s house! It’s a family tradition that we started many years ago with our eldest, before the girls. Once our family dynamic changed, we had to expand our game selection to accommodate the girls.
Good morning Jedi and Happy Force Friday to all my Star Wars Fans! Okay, so who stayed up late last night to head to Target for the midnight opening sale on the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens™ toys and gear??? I know someone who was out way past their bedtime to make sure they got some of the coolest toys that were just released!!! If you couldn’t make it to Target last night, or they ran out of that one thing you really wanted, don’t fret.

Last week we made time to have quality family game time. Our children grow up so quickly that we want to take advantage and spend as much time with them as possible. Luckily for me J-bird and Papa are known for acting just like little kids when it comes to playing games. I guess some kids never grow up!
