With school back in session for 3 weeks now, I am most thankful for our the girl’s name labels. In this short time they’ve managed to misplace their water bottles at least 3 times each. Name labels have saved us countless of times through the school year and summer camp. These are always on my back to school shopping list. If you are tired of the kids losing things, then labeling them is the right way to go and so much better than markers.
Summer just started but I can’t seem to get back to school off my mind. Both girls will be in school before I know it and I’m ready to get all my back to school supplies shopping done. If you are tired of the kids losing things, then labeling them is the right way to go. But I really don’t like using markers, so I’ve turned to name labels or stickers.
Living in Florida we’ve learned you can never prepare too much when a hurricane is coming. It is really the aftermath of the hurricane that you are preparing for, like when the electricity goes out. If you are in an evacuation zone, it is important to know which level; for us, we are in a coastal area and must evacuate immediately, no questions asked. You should always be prepared with the proper Hurricane supplies to keep your family safe. This post contains an affiliate link.
I love nothing more than throwing a party. Real joy comes from having friends and family over to celebrate milestones with us. In less than one month we will be celebrating Preemie’s 1st birthday!!! As a new tradition that we started with Em, we will be going to Disney. Although she is too young to remember it, we will have memories to share with her through pictures when she is older.
It’s that time of the year when parents are shopping for school supplies, kids are playing out their last days of summer and school is about to begin. Em returns to school on Monday. J-bird heads out to NYC to get settled into his dorm in two weeks, but doesn’t start his freshman year until the first week of September.
To help out some families in need I have donated to several organizations this summer to help put together backpacks for those less fortunate.
