Cooking for and feeding a family of five is no easy feat. Especially during the holidays when our numbers double at the very least. With J-bird returning for his first holiday back home and to celebrate his 18th birthday, we will be feasting like Kings and Queens this week.
This Thanksgiving I will be cooking for at least 10 people, which will likely end up being more like 20.

Papa works hard all day so that I can stay home and raise our children. When Papa isn’t working and the kiddos are off to sleep, he loves to watch TV for downtime. I read while he catches up on his favorite shows.
Being that Papa works in the technology field, he simply is not able to accept anything but the best.
Everyone I know has a love/hate relationship with shopping. Even those that LOVE to shop, ultimately they HATE the bill. I just left Target and almost had to leave a few limbs behind to pay the bill. Fortunately there are awesome things you can do to save while shopping there. We use the Cartwheel app along with our Target store card to maximize our savings when we shop. Every little penny counts.
Win it!!!
One lucky reader will receive a $100 Target Gift Card.
School is officially in full effect for everyone, everywhere. Now that the kids are back in school whatever will you do with all the “free” time. Ha! I wish I had free time. Sometimes I don’t even have time to jump into a 5 minute shower, much less lounge around doing nothing.
Summer is officially winding down. Kids may be back in school, but many people are still battling the summer heat. In addition to lingering hot temperatures, fall schedules can be pretty crazy, too.
Summer has come to a close and school has begun. The children are busy and you are too, with lots of catching up on stuff you simply couldn’t get done this summer.
After 6 long weeks of summer vacation, during which you’ve gained a few additional grey hairs, and catered to the whims of 1 or more video obsessed, couch potatoes. The kids are finally going back to school.
