Kindergarten is the new First Grade!
While I didn’t quite push for Em to start reading too early, I’d like to try to get Anabelle on track for Kindergarten next year.
Learning is fundamental. I’m a strong believer that every student, given the opportunity to learn, can excel. For some, it takes more practice, but practice never hurt anyone. Besides their regular school and homework, the girls use workbooks to practice. This way I am able to see where they are, and where they need more help. With school back in session for 3 weeks now, I am most thankful for our the girl’s name labels. In this short time they’ve managed to misplace their water bottles at least 3 times each. Name labels have saved us countless of times through the school year and summer camp. These are always on my back to school shopping list. If you are tired of the kids losing things, then labeling them is the right way to go and so much better than markers.
