Car seat safety is so important. Most car seats are improperly installed. Some stores have trained employees that can check and adjust your car seat. A safety tip I recently learned is that you should always loosen and tighten the seat belt straps EVERY SINGLE TIME you place your child into the seat.
A number of Evenflo car seats have been recalled.
A voluntary recall has been announced by Evenflo due to faulty seat buckles in certain models. This recall effects over 1.3 million car seats. The buckle can become stuck making it difficult to remove the child from the seat, especially in the event of an emergency.
