The girls keep asking if it is Halloween yet…and I keep saying almost. It’s become a daily thing now, and reminiscent of those car rides where the kids inevitably start asking “are we there yet?” With weeks left until Halloween arrives I decided to pull out some of our favorite Not-So-Scary Halloween movies for children that will keep everyone howling with laughter.

How did we already get into December? Time is slipping by and I still haven’t gotten around to buying my holiday cards, much less mailing them! Just before J-bird left we took a funny, non-scripted family picture. That picture will be plastered on the front of our holiday cards this year.

Cooking for and feeding a family of five is no easy feat. Especially during the holidays when our numbers double at the very least. With J-bird returning for his first holiday back home and to celebrate his 18th birthday, we will be feasting like Kings and Queens this week.
This Thanksgiving I will be cooking for at least 10 people, which will likely end up being more like 20.
