Last week I was all set to take the girls to their first ever circus! Unfortunately due to a family illness, Papa wasn’t going to be to attend. Normally I would go ahead with the girls to an event like this, but seeing as it was going to be their first time, I didn’t want Papa to miss out on the laughs and smiles.

The circus is coming, the circus is coming! Can you believe that my girls have never been to a traditional circus? I have so many fond memories of going to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus as a child, then as a teen, and again as an adult with J-bird. I am so thrilled to be taking the girls!
