Kindergarten is the new First Grade!
While I didn’t quite push for Em to start reading too early, I’d like to try to get Anabelle on track for Kindergarten next year.
Here’s a little funny story. When I was in college, and Jason was already walking around, my Mama used to say he would be finished with college before me. She was partly right. While I do already hold a B.S. and M.S. in Criminal Justice, I always wanted to go to Law School. Now that Jason is nearing completion of his undergraduate degree the race is on. Who will enter and complete Law School first? So why now am I thinking of heading back…because it’s never too late.
Now that Emily is in school, I have found myself wondering about whether I should hire a tutor for her. At one point I started searching, and had a hard time knowing where to look for one. then I saw some of the prices and was in total sticker shock. Mom guilt is real. It’s real when you find yourself in a position of having to work to provide for your family and can’t volunteer at your child’s school.
