Golfing For A Cause: Madison’s Story

I met an awesome mom today. She has a beautiful little girl named Madison.

Madison is a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed happy seven-year old girl. Madison was diagnosed with SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Type 2 at the tender age of 1. Type 2 is the 2nd worst stage of the #1 genetic killer of children. As a result Madison has never crawled or walked. You can read more about Madison’s story and how you can help here.

March of Dimes: March for Babies #TeamKmart 4/26

On Saturday, April 26, 2014, I will be walking in the March of Dimes in honor of my very own little Preemie Anabelle.
If you recall, Anabelle arrived at 30 weeks and 2 days gestational age after a scary 3 1/2 weeks of hospital bed rest, which was not so restful. She was a born a whopping 3lbs 13oz and was 16.5 long. We were fortunate that she was born weighing in the 80%+ and that I had the opportunity to receive steroid treatments to help mature her lungs.
