The smART Gallery is returning to Aventura Mall this weekend for a weekend of arts and experiences for children and families. There will be artwork for sale that will benefit the Miami-Dade Family Learning Partnership, a non-profit organization that promotes literacy and parent-skill building across Miami-Dade County. All artwork at the smART Gallery for Children will be for sale, with proceeds benefiting the organization and the artists.
If you’re in the midst of planning a wedding – or perhaps renewing your vows, then you won’t want to miss the Martha Stewart book signing happening next week for her newest book “Martha Stewart Weddings: Ideas & Inspirations” This is a little embarrassing but I can’t for the life of me remember how long I’ve been married without counting it out each time I am asked. Which is why I’ve recently been thinking about renewing my wedding vows.
Growing up in NYC the holiday season was always a magical time of the year. Mama would always take me into Manhattan to ice skate on the rink at Rockefeller Plaza, see the lights come on the tree, and sometimes even catch a show at Radio City Music Hall. Living in Miami we don’t get to see much holiday spirit just by being outdoors, so I am always looking for a holiday experience to enjoy with my girls.
