It’s no surprise why this performance is back by demand since its sold-out run in 2012. Award-winning magician Dennis Watkins takes on the role of the legendary Harry Houdini in full form. Performing with The House Theatre of Chicago, Watkins performs some of Houdini’s original tricks, including his most dangerous escape from the Water Torture Cell.
Annie, America’s most beloved musical is on tour and returning to the Arsht Center from March 3rd to March 5th. Grab your kids and plan a family date night for a night to remember.
The Arsht Center is celebrating its 10th birthday!!! It’s with a big thanks to the Arsht Center for bringing culture and theatre to the South Florida area that I am most thankful for. Opening night of Motown The Musical happened last night and had everyone, including myself, dancing in their seats. When I saw Motown last year I loved it from beginning to end, so when I was invited back to see it again I couldn’t say no. I was excited to see Motown listed for the 2015-2016 season of Broadway in Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Who better to tell the story of how some of America’s best music came to be than the singers themselves.
