https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XVuKxiWRSmQ/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAe8/5Fw-44hmGs8/photo.jpgI selected the Preschool & Daycare Labels Value Kit for Em. It comes with 160 labels in various sizes and styles. Once I picked the variety kit that fit what we needed best, the hard work began. Choosing the colors, icon, text and font style. Why was this the hard part? Because there is so much awesomeness to choose from.         http://www.brightstarkids.com.au/files/product/images/77/prod-descrip-vlabels-preschool.jpg

I chose a pink color for the background of the stick on labels and a pink text for the lettering of the iron on labels. I then selected a cute little princess girl for the icon on the bigger labels.

I guess I don’t know what I was expecting when I received the labels, but I was definitely excited and happy when I peeled the first label off the paper effortlessly. It didn’t get stuck, it didn’t rip, it just came off perfectly. I am not quite sure what is used to make the labels but it seems like some sort of vinyl if that makes sense. I really like that there is no obvious sticker adhesive or at least none that looks like it will leave behind any residue should you need to remove the label.

There are 9 background colors to choice from for the stick on labels and 7 text colors to choose from for the iron on labels. On bigger labels you can add an extra line. There are 3 different font styles to choose from along with over 40 icons which is optional.

I went on a labeling spree! No items of Em’s was left untouched. I labeled her rolling travel bag and her books, some on the outside and some inside. Fridays are share and tell days at school. The last time Em brought in a book it was misplaced and ended up in the school library collection. Now I won’t have to worry about not getting her share and tell items back. I even labeled her shoes. Aren’t those shoe labels just the cutest with their foot shape? The shoe labels come with a special separate clear label cover to keep the label protected. Labels Collage

The iron on labels are perfect for the spare clothes the school keeps on hand as well as the occasional sweater or light jacket we send her to school in. A friend gave us a zip up hoodie that had belonged to her son. It was blue. We sent her to school in it one day it didn’t get sent back. I figured the teacher just hung it on Em’s cubby hook for another day since it was warmer at pickup time. On Fridays everything is always sent home. Friday came and went and still no hoodie. It was found, but had been mistakenly put in lost and found when none of the boys claimed it, heehee. These labels should be renamed preschool problem solvers.

I just noticed that they also carry date labels. I so could use these. I am still pumping milk for Preemie on occasion so Hubby can share some feedings. These would be perfect for labeling the bags. Especially when we need to defrost milk. Defrosted breast milk is only good for 24 hours.  I definitely don’t want to see any go to waste because I can’t remember when I took it out.

The durable range of name labels will help your children’s belongings always find their way home. Using these personalized name labels for your children on to all their things will mean no more lost property! Get kids labels for bottles, shoes,  books and clothing name labels for use on all types of fabrics. The labels are safe to us in dishwashers, microwaves, sterilizers and freezers. The iron on labels are machine washer and dryer safe. Don’t be shy, you can even label adult items too! Stop that office lunch thief in their tracks.

  • What an innovative way to keep track of each person’s “stuff”. I know I’m probably the most guilty in our home for loosing track of things. I know I am still able to be helped by this system.
