Steve Jobs. A name so simple, yet represents a brilliant mind. A man light years ahead of the world in technology, the co-found of Apple, a brand we recognize as more than just a fruit. “Creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing” said Walter Isaacson, Job’s official biographer, shortly after Job’s death.

A loner, a dropout, a visionary, a genius; these are just a few of the words use to describe Steve Jobs over his lifetime.

STEVE JOBS will be released in theaters on October 9, 2015. I don’t always run to see a movie when it first comes out, but I have been truly inspired by Jobs, his drive, and his passion. I will be buying tickets for the release of Steve Jobs way in advance; I know Papa will want to see it ASAP, sounds like a date night to me.

Steve Jobs is directed by Academy Award® winner Danny Boyle and written by Academy Award® winner Aaron Sorkin, working from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple founder. Michael Fassbender plays Steve Jobs, the pioneering founder of Apple, with Academy Award®-winning actress Kate Winslet starring as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh. Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple, is played by Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels stars as former Apple CEO John Sculley. The film also stars Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs’ ex-girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original members of the Apple Macintosh development team.

  • He was brilliant, and by his own admission, not always a good guy in his personal life, though I think he tried to change that in his last years. It should be a good movie!

  • Enough with Apple. Yes he was an innovator and worked hard for his line but so has many. One movies was enough.
