South Florida Old Spice HoliSPRAY Toy Exchange Donation Event

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Double Duty Divas for Old Spice. All opinions are 100% my own.

I am partnering with Old Spice for a holiday toy drive in partnership with Second Chance Toys. I am honored to have been selected as the South Florida representative “HoliSPRAY Ambassador Toy Collector” for the HoliSpray Toy Donation Exchange Event.

I will be hosting two toy drives in an effort to collect at least 150 gently used (not new) plastic toys which will be donated to a local charity by way of Second Chance Toys and I need YOUR help.

Give & Get! In exchange for your donation Old Spice has provided me with one their new product scents to give to you as a thank you. Each family that donates a gently used plastic toy will receive a complimentary Old Spice Re-Fresh Body Spray – Timber.

In an effort to spread the word across the country, Old Spice has named “Modern Family’s” Nolan Gould and Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa HoliSPRAY Toy Donation Exchange Ambassadors! That’s right, Gould, Mustafa and I will be out and about on December 10, 2014 collecting toys. They’ll be hosting their toy drive in Los Angeles at Hollywood High School, so be sure to stop on by to say hello! And maybe even take a selfie?!

If you would like to host an Old Spice HoliSPRAY toy exchange in your community, be sure to check out the Getting Started Kit.

I am partnering with two very awesome local community organizations, The City of Sunny Isles Beach Cultural and Human Services Department and The Gan Montessori Preschool, a project of the Chabad Russian Center of South Florida.

TOY GUIDELINES:

  • Plastic only – no plastic slinkies
  • Clean/gently used – you can use antibacterial soap or wipes
  • Toys must be complete, no small or missing parts*
  • Batteries need to operate
*Parts that can fit through a toilet paper roll are too small

A private week long donation collection effort will take place through the families of The Gan Montessori Preschool.

I invite you and your family to come out to our public event on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 between 4pm and 7pm. The event will take place in the City of Sunny Isles Beach:

Pelican Community Park & Center
18115 North Bay Road
Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160

For directions or  more information, please do not hesitate to contact me by email. These toy drives are being held around the country. To find an Old Spice HoliSPRAY Toy Donation Event near you, check the listing here.

I kindly ask that you inspect your toys prior to donation to ensure there are no broken parts or missing pieces. Please use the guideline I’ve outlined above.

Please help me spread the word by sharing this post throughout the community so that we can clean out our playrooms and share our toys with those left fortunate. Bring your friends and your family and donate toys to children in need!
