On Saturday, November 14th, Santa arrived at Aventura Mall to a crowd of cheering children and adults, all waiting to find out if they’ve been naughty or nice. With Santa in Miami it’s bound to be a magical holiday! Santa’s elves had been very busy working on his brand new 60-foot workshop which was on display in front of Bloomingdale’s inside Aventura Mall. Last weekend my family and some of our closest friends headed to Aventura Mall to welcome Santa and to check out Santa’s workshop.
It was so exciting to watch Cirque Dreams put on a welcoming performance of “Christmas Dreams” with dancing candy canes, a human nutcracker on stilts, jugglers, and so much more!
The all new Santa’s workshop at Aventura Mall is incredibly stunning. With more than 4,000 LED globes that will simulate falling snow, blowing wind, and accumulating snowfall the new holiday display is sure to put you in the festive mood. Bring the entire family for a jolly good time you won’t soon forget.
Santa’s Workshop display features a 10-foot mirror–mosaic gift boxes, two cuddly 10-foot teddy bears and an elaborate light and sound show! You’ll have a chance to see the storybook 19th century sleigh pulled by eight reindeer, several 13-foot colorfully striped candy canes, and two classic English-style rocking horses. Be sure to experience the immersive three-dimensional LED “snowfall” experience near Nordstrom and the exterior “Illumination” with nearly one million glistening lights.
Come visit Santa in Miami – the best of the weather, and the holiday season!
Santa’s workshop holiday display also includes a rotating 14-point Millennium Star which sits atop Santa’s Workshop and his throne is adorned with giant gold leaf ornament and four 12-foot toy soldiers in full regalia. To celebrate Santa in Miami, every hour, an elaborate, five-minute holiday light and sound show will delight guests. Don’t miss the always popular Aventura’s Model Train Station, it is an incredible sight to see, and a guest favorite, for children and adults.
Come see Santa in Miami! Santa’s workshop is available to see from any floor, but the 2nd floor does have a slightly better view – and you can walk around the mall rotunda completely to see all sides of it. Pictures with Santa are also available, and Santa’s photo shop is open generally everyday – except Christmas when he’ll be out delivering gifts, from 11am to 7pm (12pm to 7pm on Sundays) through 12/27/15 when Santa heads back to the North Pole.
