Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California are all about having great experiences no matter what type of trip you are planning or who you are visiting with– even if you plan to go solo. The runDisney events that are hosted throughout the year follow the same idea, and many of them have been created to be all encompassing when it comes to who they are suited for. Still, some of the runDisney events are geared more towards the family than others and include kid races, kid friendly parties and special character greetings. runDisney unfortunately does not permit strollers during the races so be sure to visit Run Stroller Run for stroller friendly races all across the United States.
If you want to combine a runDisney event into your family vacation, these are some of the best options that runDisney offers for families.

This event is designed specifically for women and girls, making it a great bonding experience for moms and daughters, aunts and grandmas and sisters. Everyone is encouraged to dress up for the race and family and guests are entertained at different points all along the race routes.
