Celebration & Giveaway!

My children are my life as I can imagine is the case for all parents. I am truly blessed  to be a stay at home mom and spend as much time with them as possible. My son is big already and has a life of his own so I am grateful for my two little girls. From their first diaper changes to their first steps, Pampers Swaddlers which are now available up to size 5, can now be there through many more firsts.

Since hubby has to work he misses a lot of what the girls do throughout their day. That includes many of their “firsts” including first smiles, first crawl, first roll over, etc. I try to capture these moments to share with him by taking lots of pictures and videotaping them throughout the day. Read on to learn more about “firsts” and how you can win an awesome Pampers Gift Pack.

With our littlest one still in the NICU I have asked the nurses to hold off on certain things so we are there to experience them as well. I was there for our Preemies first bath, first move into the open crib and first dressing. Hubby was there for her first tube feeding and then her oral feeding.

The nurses are wonderful and take lots of pictures of her for us. I provided a cute little ladybug jumper for Halloween and when they put it on her they took pictures for us in case she got it dirty before we got there.

They have also provided us with a bedside notebook to record her advances and to write messages to her. Lets just say we are on book #2 as day 50 into her NICU stay. I admit that I’ve had journals for my other children but never wrote in them as feverishly as I have for our littlest one. One day we will be able to share these notebooks with her so that she can read about all her firsts.

I can’t wait until we can bring her home. We will have a special dinner that evening to celebrate our first time together as a family. These kinds of first moments are special because they happen only once. How do you celebrate milestones and firsts?

Of all the diapers we have tried over the course of Em’s 21 months, the one my husband loved the most for our baby girl was Pampers Swaddlers. We are so excited that they are making Swaddlers in sizes 4 & 5 now.  Even the hospital that our Preemie is at uses Pampers Swaddlers!

Knowing that both of our girls are wearing Pampers’ softest diaper ever brings us comfort. Preemie will be able to stay in the diaper mom and dad love throughout her baby’s diapering years.

Be sure to visit the Pampers Facebook Fan Page and follow them on Twitter. Want to share about your baby’s first? You can use Hashtag #SwaddlersFirsts!

  • We try to take pictures or videos, and since I’m horrible with writing things in a baby book I e-mail myself notes about firsts- like Taio’s first tooth 7 months old.
