My Fair Lady Musical in South Florida

MY FAIR LADY at the Arsht Center in Miami from March 28 – April 2!

When I was just a child, I remember my Mama watching My Fair Lady on VHS all the time. When I was in college I worked at West Coast Video and would frequently bring home classical musicals for my Mama to enjoy. My Fair Lady was always one of her top requests. I don’t ever recall watching it with her, but I do recall the smile on her face as she watched it. Such fond memories are irreplaceable. But enough about me, this is all about you and how you do NOT want to miss this incredible performance!!! Thankfully Broadway in Miami is bringing this amazing story to South Florida for all to see. You’ll want to be sure to buy your tickets before they sell out! With 8 show times to choose from, including matinees and weekends, it will be easy to schedule a date for this one!

From Lincoln Center Theater, which brought you The King & I and South Pacific, comes “a sumptuous new production of the most perfect musical of all time” (Entertainment Weekly), Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY. Director Bartlett Sher’s glowing production is “thrilling, glorious and better than it ever was” (The New York Times). “Every so often, a revival comes along that reminds you how indispensable great theater can be” (NY1).

Boasting such classic songs as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live,” MY FAIR LADY tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?
