mrsfieldsnibblerscookies.jpgOnce upon a time when I had time to bake cookies I would never have dared to buy anything store-bought. Nowadays with two under two I barely have time to shower. From time to time J-bird, who loves desserts, lends a hand and makes cookies and brownies on his own. This is done using pre-mixed ingredients, so unfortunately it’s not made from scratch which is what I consider homemade.

Papa Bear has a chocolate allergy so we never worry about him eating our goodies. Usually it’s just me, J-bird, some sweet treats, a couple of glasses of cold milk and a late night movie for some mom and son time.

So what is a Mama to do and where do I turn to when the kiddos and I are craving our once a week sweet treat? I turn to Mrs. Fields. Luckily we have a Mrs. Fields at the local mall.  Since J-bird drives I am able to send him over there to pick up some cookies for us.

Mrs. Fields now makes it easy to bring home some awesome homemade cookies. No more runs to the mall necessary! I can pick up the new Mrs. Fields Fudge Dipped Nibblers right at the grocery store. Em was so excited and was waiting as patiently as a tot can possible wait for a some cookies and milk.

The new line of Nibblers includes great flavors like the classic milk chocolate chip, peanut butter chip and double chocolate. Better yet, they are dipped in fudge on the bottom! The fudge dipped Nibblers are the perfect size for Em’s little hands. No need to break them like I do with regular size cookies.

Em really enjoyed her special treat and started in on the cookies by liking and biting the fudge dipped bottom. How will you eat your Nobblers? Chocolate dipped side first? Dipped in milk? Or in one bite?

Cousin Ray had just come over to take J-bird to a Heat game as I was opening the box of goodies. The boys barely let me finish plating the Nibblers. Each time I put a cookie down it was gone. I finally distracted them by telling them to pour some milk for themselves. I finished putting out all the varieties of the cookies and they ran off into J-bird’s room for a quick game of basketball before they headed out.

Mrs. Fields fudge dipped Nibblers got the thumbs up from these boys. It was a quick and fun snack, especially before heading out the door. It was cute to see them fighting over the plate like little kids in a cookie store. How often have your kids argued over who would carry the plate of food? They even grabbed one of the boxes on the way out, to go.

Here are some snack ideas for serving Nibblers to your bunch:

  • Nibblers Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches
  • Pudding Nibblers Parfait
  • Top a cupcake with a Nibblers before frosting

Whatever you do with your Nibblers, just have fun with it! Perfect for the next time you are snack duty, heading out to your book club, or invited to a group gathering.

The kids all really enjoyed the Nibblers. So did I. My favorite was the double chocolate! As I write this I am enjoying  some Nibblers with a late night cup of coffee. So whatever you are drinking, whatever you are doing, grab some Nibblers and enjoy some quiet time to yourself. Locate a store that carry’s Mrs. Fields Nibblers near you!

So which flavor will you be trying first?

  • Milk Chocolate Chip
  • Peanut Butter Chip
  • Double Chocolate Fudge
