Mía Mariú’s
New Fragrance Collection
Perfume, cologne, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, whatever you want to call it doesn’t matter much to me. I’ve come to learn the differences through trial and error. I much more prefer body sprays/splashes to strong or heavy perfumes. I would like to say this is the case because I live in the heat laden city of Miami. But alas, I have always been this way, even when I lived in NY. Finding a perfume that I can thoroughly enjoy is no easy feat.
I am so particular that I really must experience it first hand. I do not trust magazines, commercials, friends or even descriptions. I enjoy soft and subtle scents that announce I have arrived but does not leave the room gasping for air because they are drowning in the perfume.
I expected the mm magia to have a light summery citrus feel to it. Especially taking into consideration it is marketed as an Eau de Toilette, which is supposed to be a lightly scented perfume, similar to that of a body spray.
When I wore it to and asked my husband his opinion on it his words were “its not your style”. I looked at him in shock, my style is ever evolving. How could this not be “my style”? It was definitely stronger then my usual liking.
To give you a better idea, some of the perfumes that I like to wear are Happy and Be Delicious. Keep in mind, every scent wears and smells differently on each individual person.
Living in Miami with the strong heat and the sweating that comes with it I don’t want something that should make me smell good not smell so good. This will definitely be an evening fragrance for me.
What meshes with me and my body may not do the same for you. What doesn’t mesh with me, or perhaps I simply don’t like, may still be a hit for you. I always allow myself to try new things because you just never know. Like I said, “my style” is ever evolving and how can you evolve without experiences.

This rugged, refreshing, strong and sensual fragrance has top notes of citron tonic, violet leaf, dew grass; middle notes are red saffron, crushed nutmeg and fresh vetiver; base notes are creamy sandalwood, vanilla absolute and vintage suede. Caoba’s modern smooth scent creates mystery and sexy confidence.
mm acqua EDT 1.7 oz for Men
“rebellious, irresistible, seductive…pure masculinity”This clean, cool and refreshing fragrance offers a sophisticated scent with its unique blend of exotic ingredients. Acqua leaves skin aromatically scented with top notes of sliced ginger, star ruby grapefruit and white pepper, middle notes of warm nutmeg, Egyptian jasmine and skin musk while balancing perfectly with bottom notes of Texas white cedar, Haitian vetiver and Bois de Encens. Acqua embodies the essence of masculinity.

I like your honesty in the review. I like really light fragrances, too. I want to smell like a little piece of candy or summer blossom, but I’d be willing to try the Magia with an open mind!
