LEGO Fans Can Now Create Their Own Skits! #Giveaway

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Skit!.

We do a lot of traveling as a family. Some of those travels are done as road trips with many hours spent in the car. I try to keep the kids entertained with traditional games like I Spy and lots of singing. Keeping their attention focused isn’t always easy, especially when the “are we there yet?” questions begin. For those moments, I let them use my phone to play games on while I focus on the road ahead.

My phone is filled to the brim with fun and educational apps to keep myself and family entertained on the go. I am always looking for fun new apps to check out. The latest to be downloaded to my phone is the fun new and FREE app called Skit!.

Imagine creating fun animated short videos, memes, remixes and more. There are tons of characters, backgrounds and fun extra props you can add to each skit you create. And now it also features your favorite The LEGO Movie characters like Emmet, Batman, Wildstyle, Unikitty, and dozens of more. Skit! also has over 20 backgrounds from The LEGO Movie for you to use like CloudCookoo Land, Wild West, and Bob’s Kabob Truck.

Warner Brothers wanted to help create some fun by partnering with Skit! by putting The LEGO Movie assets into the hands of fans to allow for story-telling, play and creative expression. We all know that playing with LEGO’s helps children learn through imagination. Building with LEGO’s is an unlimited adventure, and now you can do it with Skit!, without the worry of losing precious LEGO pieces while you are on the road.

Your children will be able to create all kinds of fun shorts with various characters, backgrounds and even voice recordings to express their creations. Skit! is available for download to your tablet or Smartphone device through the iTunes App Store, Google Play, or Amazon, for FREE!!!

There is so much fun to be had with Skit!. You can create holiday cards, birthday cards, tell a story, create video messages to send to your family, the possibilities are endless. Best of all, Skit! is now available for use by kids of all ages, with their parents approval. Read about the new feature update that allows you, the parent, to set controls in-app, giving you peace of mind.

So I bet you are wondering how Skit! works? Here’s how easy and creative you can get making your very own skits.

  • Get creative and select backgrounds, characters and props for story telling
  • Skit! allows you to import your own photos by tapping the + on the screen and then select from your photo library
  • You can then personalize and change photos using icons from the left toolbar to crop, add text, draw & incorporate props
  • Continue to add as many characters, photos, props, etc. as you wish
  • Create your own weather! Make it rain or snow, create a dream sequence with our camera filters!
  • Onto the voice recording function, where you can tap the record button to narrate your story. When you hear the word Go, use your fingers to move the characters around on the screen as you narrate the story to bring your characters to life
  • Get a preview of your SKIT! by pressing play. You can save it or redo it if you need.
  • Your Skit! can be shared privately with family & friends, or with the entire SKIT! Community.
  • The more you share, the more accessories you unlock through their new rewards program!
