Seems no matter what carrier you select for your families mobile phone service there is always something that eventually leads you to be disappointed. I consider myself a pretty loyal customer, especially considering my average time with any given carrier is 6-7 years.
Over that time period plans can change, as can services offered. We switched two years ago to our current carrier, and while I was happy for most of the term, lately I am finding myself extremely unhappy. Having the opportunity to learn about Sprint and all they have to offer was a win-win situation for me.
See, I had Nextel many, many years ago. Around the time I moved down to Miami, Nextel had merged with Sprint. I found that the service was not as great in my area and ended up moving on. Here we are eight years later and with the advances in technology and the was Sprint has grown, I was eager to see what they had to offer.
Hosted in the beautiful Lamb’s Club in Manhattan, NYC, Sprint and Mom Central put in a one of a kind, show stopping event to present the HTC One Harman/Kardon Edition and inform current and previous customer bloggers like myself with information during the Sprint Sound Session Event.
At one time I had said I would never switch to an Android phone ever again. And then I ate my words. I’ve been so upset with the lack of certain features on my current phone that I’ve borrowed my husbands Android phone a lot recently. In came the opportunity to check out the HTC One Harman/Kardon edition, exclusive to Sprint.
We’ve all been playing with the phone. And have all agreed that the quality camera, and its fun features are a big hit. For families with children, the kid mode limits kids from installing, deleting, downloading applications and music with a certain rating, you get to set. A major plus for us. No surprise hundred-dollar download bills!
Papa’s favorite features of the new HTC One phone is the unbelievable stereo sound directly from the phone and from the Harman/Karden headset to match! J-bird is super happy that Spotify is a featured music app on the Sprint network. He’s been a paying member for a while, so he knows how to work it inside and out. Yes, I had to turn to my teen to ask him to explain to me how to make the most out of my subscription. Kids these days really know SO much more than us about technology.
I am really enjoying having so many options for music. With Sprint Music Plus, Next Radio and Spotify, my HTC One is now my music go to. Even in the car!! But especially to keep me moving and shaking while cleaning the house. Because cleaning without music is no fun! Since the HTC One features a Harman/Kardon speaker, the clarity of the music is unbeatable.
I’m not sure if you heard, but I experienced a live performance by Grammy nominated singer Jermaine Paul! And OMG he sang to me. Darci from Everything Mommyhood was there to, but she totally denies seeing it happen. I know Becky from Week99er had to have seen it!!! Someone throw me a bone here.
I must confess. There was a teensy fight over the HTC One. Papa, J-bird and I, all tried to lay claim to it. In the end Papa, our hard worker, has won out, but only when he’s out and about. Staying connected and having all the music you could ever need in your pocket is what its about!
I am really excited to finish out my current contract with my carrier. Sprint has really won me over. I am just debating on whether I should find someone with a Framily plan to join or if I should start my own. Will you join my Framily? Being a Sprint customer gives you access to many benefits, like free Spotify and more. It’s a win-win situation. Sprint really made me feel like I was already part of their Framily.
