IntelliGender Review – Predicting Your Baby’s GenderSooner!

A posting came up on my Facebook news feed several weeks back. It brought to my attention a company by the name of IntelliGender.

IntelliGender says that you can predict the sex of your baby in the privacy of your home as early as ten weeks along. Most sonograms will not show anything until 16-20 weeks, depending on how willing
the baby is to cooperate actually! IntelliGender peaked my interest and I sent them a message via Facebook letting them know I was very interested in testing/reviewing their product for my blog and
readers. Yes, I am preggo!! Super excited and anxious at the same time. IntelliGender was kind enough to send me a kit. I received it when I was about eight weeks pregnant so I had to wait a few weeks
to use it. I am sure you can imagine that I stared at the box for the entire two weeks I had to wait! Just to be on the safe side, I waited a few extra days. The kit comes with instructions, a syringe, and the testing cup filled with crystal looking things.

The instructions were pretty simple:

1. Use your first morning pee!

2. Pee into a clean, disposable cup/container (not included)

3. Using the syringe extract urine from the disposable cup.

4. Remove sticker from top of testing cup and insert syringe. Empty contents
of the syringe into cup.

5. Swirl rapidly and place on a flat white

6. Leave the test alone for five minutes.

Do not disturb it. Read the result immediately at the five minute mark.

From the IntelliGender’s Website:

IntelliGender’s Gender Prediction Test™ is a simple urine analysis similar to the pregnancy test you took a few weeks ago. It uses first morning urine and a proprietary mix of chemicals which reacts with a combination of hormones to indicate the gender of your baby. It can be performed as early as 10 weeks of pregnancy (six weeks from the first day of the missed period). It is an easy test to perform and provides quick results in-home so the news can be shared right away. IntelliGender reminds all pregnant moms that seeing an obstetrician early in the pregnancy is critical for the health of the mother and the baby and should follow the advice of their physician. You simply collect first morning urine and insert into the test vessel. Swirl rapidly in a circular motion, place the test on a flat white surface undisturbed for minutes.
Here are my results:

IT’S A BOY!!!!
(Totally GREEN!)

If it would have been a girl it would have matched more of the orange color like below.20130610-215054.jpg

Since my husband and I recently had a baby girl, my husband is excited and hopeful that the BOY result will be confirmed at our next sonogram (in several more weeks). I will definitely keep you updated! Meanwhile hubby is rejoicing and contemplating boy names. We are looking at names that begin with a
J for a boy, so if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comment section below!

I love products like this that really give an opportunity for a true review because the results can actually be
confirmed or dis-proven by a sonogram. Or you can always ask those that have already given birth who took this test during the earlier part of their pregnancy that the results were 100% on point! Stay tuned for next sonogram results to see if our little baby blueberry is a boy…..

I used the Chinese gender predication test on their website….results said girl….I guess we will just have to wait to find out…

IntelliGender retails for $34.95, but is now on sale at 20% off for $27.99 for a limited time.

Either way I think this was fun and
a neat gift for pregnant moms anxious to get a sneak peek at their
baby’s gender. Check out the IntelliGender company by visiting
their website, facebook and twitter!

Disclosure: Mama’s Mission was sent an IntelliGender Prediction Test in exchange for this review.

  • I used it with my 4th pregnancy and it said I was having boy #4 and it was correct!
Also, I enjoyed reading this review.

  • Welp, they have a 50/50 shot at being correct. lol

  • Wow technology is really awesome!

  • I still like the surprise at birth! I may be old fashioned but I like the expectation and the guessing games that we all play. Still, to each his own, if you want to know I am glad that there is a test.

  • This is awesome. I can’t believe the new technology they come up with. Congrats on the baby boy. God Bless
