South Florida welcomes GHOST the Musical with open arms to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts through May 11, 2014.

Adapted from the Academy Award-winning film GHOST, the classic movie you watched over and over, is now a musical! For only two weeks you have the opportunity to fall in love again with Sam, Molly and Oda Mae.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Opening Night of this spectacular show! I remember watching GHOST growing up. Most memorable moment? Definitely the time when Sam sat behind Molly at the pottery wheel holding her hands as she molded the clay. Classic!

GHOST The Musical comes to life in modern-day New York City with special effects and illusions like you have never seen on stage before. Some so breathing taking you will be left asking yourself, “Did that just really happen?”

Following Sam’s untimely death, and trapped between two worlds, Sam tries desperately to warn his love Molly of the impending danger linked to his not so random death. Enter Oda Mae, the ever funny psychic, who will discover her real talents through her encounter with Sam. Together Sam and Oda Mae embark on a journey to save Molly and avenge Sam’s death.

GHOST The Musical brings the talents of an outstanding cast and the musical geniuses of Grammy Award-winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard together for a tale of everlasting love in this timeless love story. Molly and Sam put on a winning performance with beautiful singing voices, passion and incredible story telling, with flair. Oda Mae steals the shows with her funny one of a kind character. The Subway Ghost scenes are not to be missed! They will electrify you to your core as Sam learns the tricks to communicating with the living.
