Eddie The Eagle, starring Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Taron Egerton (plays “Eddie” and was the lead in the 2015 film “Kingsman: The Secret Service”) is the feel-good story of the year! And it’s also a TRUE STORY. It’s a movie about sticking to your dreams & goals and persevering to make those dreams a reality. Behind those dreams and goals is also a mom who supported Eddie, believing in her son, and standing by his side all the way to the Olympics!

Inspired by true events, Eddie The Eagle is a feel-good story about Michael “Eddie” Edwards, an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself – even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (played by Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of sports fans around the world by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Eddie The Eagle stars Taron Egerton as Eddie, the loveable underdog with a never say die attitude.

Eddie The Eagle Movie Advance Screening!
Advance screenings have been happening all over the United States, but you had to be lucky to get tickets for those. Thankfully Fox Studios just announced that they want everyone to attend a preview screening. So tomorrow, Sunday, February 21 at 4pm Eddie The Eagle be showing in select theaters nationwide. If you can’t make it to the screening, don’t fret – Eddie The Eagle opens nationwide on Friday, February 26, 2016!
