Known as one of the largest egg hunts in all of South Florida with over 50,000 eggs, the City of Hialeah Egg-Stravaganza brings together kids of all ages ready to celebrate spring and some fun in the sun. Parking and admission is free. Hialeah’s Egg-Stravaganza is much more than just an egg-hunt. The event includes an afternoon of live entertainment featuring young talented artists from local schools, dance academies and our very own talented youth from the Goodlet Theater Cultural Arts program. Children can play all day in the Kids Zone featuring rides and interactive inflatables and even get a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny! Spring is in the air in Homestead as preparations begin for the annual Homestead Easter Egg Hunt. Hundreds of families will enjoy an evening of crafts, food trucks, and an egg hunt. Caring Bunny™ events will offer families that have children with special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Caring Bunny, the largest program of its kind, has been developed by Simon.

Enjoy a private photo session with The Caring Bunny™, an event designed to support special needs children and their families. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include (specific elements or aesthetics may vary):

– Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.
– Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
– Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.

Broward County – Easter Egg Hunts in South Florida

C.B. Smith Park Egg Hunt Triathlon & Duathlon – 1711 NW 79th Ave, Miami, Florida 33126

When: Saturday, March 31st from 7am to 10am

Cost: $89 and up per participant

The Egg Hunt duathlon & sprint triathlon is a family affair at C.B. Smith Park. Spectators can take part in a multitude of activities during and after the race, including our Easter egg hunt for children at 9am. C.B. Smith park, a 299 acre site is host to many activities. As athletes ride through the park, they will see Paradise Cove Water Park, All Golf facility, a tennis complex & picnic shelters, making this race not just a morning event, but an all day affair.

FIU volunteer opportunity, meet us at CB Smith park on Saturday morning to help with the water station, transition, break down and the family festival! All volunteers are to enter the park ($1.50 per person) and check-in at the FIU tent to receive your tshirt and volunteer assignment. All volunteers will receive a bag lunch once they check-out at the FIU tent, please be sure to let us know when you register if you have any dietary restrictions.

Coconut Creek Spring Egg Hunt – Coconut Creek Community Center – 1100 Lyons Road

Easter is everyone’s favorite time of year. When’s the last time you participated in an Easter Egg Hunt? The crew at Blue Moon have been having a ton of fun planning this one out on the water. The rabbits have been busy placing egg baskets around the neighborhood and reports have it they layed 2 Gold Eggs and 1 Silver Egg! Bring back the Special Eggs for the Grand basket or bring back eggs to redeem for fun prizes. All ages are welcome to participate. Open to all rentals for this day. Free Parking is Located at the Tennis Center or metered parking at the Boat ramps next to our launch location.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts will host its annual Spring Marshmallow Drop in West Hollywood. This is a fun family event that includes an egg hunt, the dropping of over 30,000 marshmallows from a helicopter, a bounce house, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. For kids ages 3-12.

The egg hunts will be held on baseball fields #1 through #4. There will be over 30,000 candy filled eggs so be sure to bring a basket or bag for collecting! There are a number of “golden” eggs which will get you an additional prize. The eggs are gone in a flash so it is recommended to arrive by 9:15am! This year’s Earth Day Celebration will feature the much loved EGGstravaganza, YAA’s egg drop competition. Children will use their creativity and ingenuity to create cradles or parachutes to protect eggs surviving the fall from a 50-foot fire truck crane operated by the Town of Davie Fire Department. Please plan to arrive early and bring a basket. Get your baskets ready for Wellington’s annual Egg Hunt! The event begins promptly at 10:00 a.m., and will be divided into four age groups: ages 2 and under; ages 3 to 4; ages 5 to 7; and ages 8 to 10. At each egg hunt, two eggs will have a pink bunny ticket inside, indicating a special prize.
