If your little ones breath, sleep and eat Disney, then they are in for a real treat. Likely they’ve seen the movies, the characters in person, maybe even been to Disney World itself. But to be able to embrace the music, oh the magical music from the movies with Disney In Concert is a pleasure for the senses. With favorites such as “Be Our Guest”, “Under the Sea”, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”, “A Whole New World”, “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King”, “Let It Go” and more, your little one is sure to be singing and dancing in their seats!
Disney In Concert – One Day Only!
Playing for one night only on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 7 PM at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida. This musical program brings you the full concert experience featuring four Broadway vocalist with a Disney-produced visual in the background like you’ve never seen before. Including rare original storyboard artwork and video from the highly popular films, the visuals alone will be spectacular. But what’s a concert without a full 38-piece orchestra? Disney In Concert has it all!
From new generation favorites from Disney like The Little Mermaid (my daughters ABSOLUTE FAVORITE), Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King or Frozen. And for us older folk – young at heart of course, there will be classics like Mary Poppins and the “Yo-Ho” of Pirates of the Caribbean.
When everyone joins together for memorable moments and melodies that Mouseketeers of all ages know by heart, it feels like a small world, after all.
The parental guidance lists this show as appropriate for ages 4 and up. Disney in Concert runs for approximately 90 minutes, and there will be an intermission about half way through. Food, snacks and beverages are available for purchase and the on-site restaurants – BRAVA! and The Café at Books and Books will also be open. Drinks and food inside the theatre for this performance is TBD at this time.
Ticket prices start at $45 and are required for all ages. Disney in Concert will be playing at The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts which is located at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132. I remember when I was young and my Mom taking me to New York City to see Disney On Ice. I loved to watch it and the beautiful costumes. Now I am on the other side of the country (Ca.) and things are so far I miss this part with my Granddaughter.
