This book is the first in a series of bilingual books for children to learn the proper names for family members in either Spanish or English. Please note that if you have a young child that is not yet reading, you will need to read the words/proper names to them, this is not an audiobook (that would be a great added feature to this Kindle version). I would love to see them add a pronunciation guide on the pages to help children sound out the words.

The book has a total of 37 pages with Spanish & English translated phrases. The book is illustrated with cartoon characters and the Spanish phrases are in a speech bubble format with the English words below the picture. Character education appeals to children, and adults alike, more than plain text.
The book is accompanied by a website were the book is available in an animated format (with audio) as well as many games to practice the vocabulary. You can visit the website here. This is a fun and cute starter if you are looking for a bilingual children’s book. It is a quick read and can even be used as a bed time story for the little ones.
