Celebrating Halloween at Disney World
Not So Scary Halloween Party
This special event takes place in Magic Kingdom every year. Guests are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes, trick or treat, and engage in all types of Halloween fun. In addition to your regular park ticket for admission to Magic Kingdom, you will need to purchase a special event ticket that will give you access to all the Halloween fun. This event does not happen every night, but selected days and only in the evenings so you can still be sure to get in all your regular Disney park fun before heading to the party. Tickets normally sell out pretty quickly so if you plan to spend Halloween at Disney World you will want to get your tickets as soon as they go on sale.
Trick or Treating
Guests get to trick or treat in the happiest place on Earth, and in costume. Dressing up something you only see encouraged for small children, but not at Disney! Enjoy trick or treating from attraction to attraction, and you never know where there will be characters there to greet you! Everyone is welcome to come in costume, adults too! Guests in the park can enjoy this parade as long as they position themselves along the route. Pro tip: find a spot in front of Haunted Mansion, it’s the best spot!
Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular Party!
All the famous Disney villains come out to help you celebrate Halloween during the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular Party! This party is meant to be a visual fantasy, with projections, special effects only Disney can conjure up. Which also includes special guest appearances that you don’t see at the parks during the rest of the year. Admission is only possible with Not So Scary admission tickets because this party happens in the evening during the Halloween holiday.

Everyone loves the firework shows at Disney World, and when celebrating Halloween at Disney World there is a special Wishes show to get everyone in the mood for Halloween. HalloWishes features a different soundtrack, new lighting and projections in order to put together a spook, scary and fun firework show to celebrate. All ages are invited to watch this show which happens over the Cinderella’s castle and can best be seen from Main Street.
