I absolutely love their slogan “Let’s kick some rash.” There is nothing worse than a baby with butt rash – it hurts, both of you, more them but it definitely can take an emotional toll on your heart. When butt rash strikes it’s important to strike back, and do it fast so it doesn’t spread. One of the key things is making sure you wash your hands both before and after. Another suggestion is getting your hands on a butt rash cream that you can apply to protect baby’s tiny hiney.
Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Kicks Butt Rash
I’ve tried every butt cream known to man, or at least the ones I could get my hands on. The girls didn’t have a regular butt rash problem, but when they did, they REALLY did. It hurt to see them hurt and I was hands on in making sure to alleviate their pain. I am not one to use butt cream as a preventative, although there are some that swear by it. I treat it just like a medication, and I want it to work when I need it most. My favorite butt rash cream thus far has been Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. It’s thick, but not greasy, it doesn’t smell obnoxious and it does the job.
Boudreaux’s Butt Paste is free of harsh butt-irritating ingredients like Parabens, Preservatives, Dyes, Phthalates and Talc ingredients included in some diaper rash ointments. Confession: I’ve even applied to it small nicks and cuts.
We keep a tube stored in our diaper basket, as well as in the girls diaper bag – just in case butt rash strikes when we least expect it!
When the girls get a diaper rash, I want to make sure that the cream or ointment we use creates a thick barrier between the diaper and the skin and Boudreaux’s Butt Paste has been specially formulated to provide the thickest barrier of protection that forms immediately upon contact with your baby’s bottom. As you can see, the water just beads on my fingers!
There are three targeted formulas to help protect against and improve diaper rash – Original, Maximum Strength and All Natural. The original formula – and a favorite of mine, contains 16% Zinc Oxide which treats skin irritations by creating a barrier to seal out wetness. The maximum strength formula contains 40% Zinc Oxide for over two times the rash fighting power as the original formula. And the all natural formula is formulated with natural soothing and calming ingredients like Aloe Vera in addition to 16% Zinc Oxide to help soothe skin.
