With Preemie arriving 10 weeks early I didn’t have the chance to have a baby shower. Or even a “sprinkle” as my friend Roro calls it when its your second baby in two years. Whatever you want to call it, lets just call it a very much missed party. We’ve been so busy trying to get into the routine of things that we haven’t even had time to host a baby welcoming party.
While I was in the hospital on bed rest I missed a really fun mommy event I had been invited to. So you better believe that when I heard that Big City Moms was going to be hosting The Biggest Baby Shower here in Miami I was definitely going to make sure to be there.

Big City Moms is once again hosting the Biggest Baby Shower Ever on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at The Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island from 6:00pm – 9:30pm. Tickets start at just $35 for a Basic Pass. Doors open at 5:30 for those holding upgraded Super Pass tickets which also includes an Ergo Baby Carrier (ARV $120). Couples are welcomes!
All upgraded pass holders will receive an overflowing gift bag complete with hundreds of dollars worth of baby booty including full and sample size products, magazines, snacks, and coupons every new mom or dad could need.
Use this event to take a forced, but much needed, night off for you and your mom friends, or even make it a date night! If you can’t find a last minute babysitter, be sure to baby-wear as strollers will not be permitted inside (or make sure to buy an upgraded pass so you can get the baby carrier I mentioned above!). The Biggest Baby Shower is sure to be the talk of the town so be sure not to miss this event. Mix and mingle with the hottest baby product companies like Britax, Orbit, Ergo Baby, Tommee Tippee, Evenflo, Dr. Smith’s and Sage Spoonful’s. Other local sponsors of the event will be on hand like Miami Children’s Hospital, Lexus of Kendall, Lexus of West Kendall, Kendall Toyota and West Kendall Toyota.
Come munch on sweets, sip bubbly flavored waters from LaCroix, meet industry experts, attend educational seminars and mini-lectures on topics from how to create a nursery to sleep (or how to get some) and general health and safety tips for you and baby.
