I was invited on an all expense paid trip by Disney to attend the Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to attend a Red Carpet Premiere? Watched a recap on TV of all the actors from the film and other stars in attendance, taking it all in, who they brought with them, what they were wearing. Have you ever thought to yourself “I wonder what it’s like to walk down the Red Carpet”, I know I have. But I’ll be wondering no more because two days ago that is exactly what I did!!! Take a walk down the Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere with me!
Getting Red Carpet Ready doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes planning, shopping and a willingness to step out of your comfort zone to try new things when the opportunity presents itself.
The Dress – A dramatic red velvet bodice, textured heart print swing skirt with an embroidered heart layered tulle skirt. A corset-inspired back is framed by a heart applique…and while this photo doesn’t do it justice, you can see it better here – it’s called the Red Queen, named mostly after myself.
The Shoes – oh the GOLD shoes…
The Bag…there’s a bit of a gold pattern starting to build here.
The Nails….colors, sparkles and designs oh my!
The Hair….for me, it was all about the hair. I’ve always wanted to add some fun color to my hair and knowing that P!nk was performing, I knew I’d be in good company.
Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere
And away we go, whisked away in our chariot to the Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere.
First stop…Official Walt Disney Studios Guest Pass
After which we headed over to the front of the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio doors for a special performance by P!nk!!! I’ve never seen her perform in person and I will not soon forget this experience. Listening to her sing the cover of White Rabbit, and Just Like Fire, was, just like FIRE! In fact, I’m already stalking P!nk’s Page for upcoming tour dates.
You can totally tell she was singing to me here. (Do you see all those people on the roof top? Fans were EVERYWHERE!)
Say hi to Willow. P!nk’s daughter was on hand to cheer her mama on!
Humbled by the love and admiration of her fans….
See the entire Jimmy Kimmel LIVE P!nk performance here – sing along with the lyrics.
However I wasn’t prepared for the loving response for Twitter. I guess they agreed with my thoughts, the tweet received over 120 <3’s!!!

A quick stop at the stairs to the Oscars and the Dobly Theater. I’ve walked these stairs before during a family trip to L.A., but this brought a totally different feeling to it. Red Carpet Ready and posing on the Oscar stairs is an experience I will never forget.
Before we knew it, it was time to head back over for our turn to walk the Red Carpet. So much goes into getting Hollywood Blvd. ready for a red carpet premiere and there are so many people everywhere. Fans, locals, news cameras, security, and of course 25 awesome and amazing bloggers ready to rock the red carpet like never before.
I caught a glimpse of Sacha Baron Cohen, and also did some video via Facebook Live on the red carpet. Before long we were being asked to enter the theatre for the start of the movie. Having seen it three times now, I can tell you without a doubt that you should definitely go see it (stay tuned because my review is coming soon!)
Walking into El Capitan we were greeted by more fans (funny posing fans) from the store next door.
We were treated to the sweet sounds of classic Disney music while we waited for all the guests to take their seats and the movie to begin.
Snacks and drinks in hand I was ready for round three with the Mad Hatter, Alice, Time, White Rabbit, March Hare, and the Red Queen!
After the screening of Disney’s Alice Through The Looking Glass, we just had to take one final group shot of our fabulous looking selves!
We were invited to the Red Carpet Premiere after party held at the infamous Roosevelt Hotel. There was so much going on. Photo booth stations, virtual reality (featuring the concert by P!nk), manicures, make up, and even some arts and crafts. Food in abundance – and DELICIOUS, drinks were flowing, and the desserts were divine.
P!nk fans were everywhere – this one was waiting to catch a glimpse of P!nk on the way to the after party.
The entire event was unlike anything I have ever experienced before and I hope to one day be able to return again. Until then, I’ll have these photos and my memories to carry with me, and the stories to share with future grandchildren one day. It was wild, it was crazy, attending the Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere I had once believed to be impossible. Dream big, believe and achieve! I hope you enjoyed this trip down the Alice Through The Looking Glass Red Carpet Premiere with me. Ready to see the movie for yourself? Alice Through The Looking Glass hits theaters on May 27th!
Have you ever done anything you once thought was impossible?
