The Fourth of July, better known as Independence Day, is the one day each year that we celebrate our freedom. On July 4th, 1776, the United States of America adopted the Declaration of Independence, thereby declaring our independence from what was then Great Britain. Since that time, our nation has grown immensely. We celebrate this cultural melting pot we call home today, as well as the men and women that have fought to keep it free.

The Freedom of Choice

What better way to celebrate a holiday signifying freedom than with a great giveaway that gives you the freedom to choose what you want? To celebrate, Moms Living Thrifty has sponsored a $50.00 eGift card to the winner’s choice of Kmart, Sears or Land’s End, so that the winner has the freedom to choose what to spend it on. • 4th of July is independence day. The day to celebrate our FREEDOM from the English colonies and the freedom bought and paid for by our Service men and women. I feel it has lost it’s true meaning to many because of commercialism. It is not about blowing up money in fireworks, getting drunk and acting a fool, it is about our freedom that so many take for granted. Many men and Women lost their lives for us to be free as we are today. Remember the sacrifice and honor the freedom. We are free thanks to those who crossed the sea many years ago and all those who have fought for us.

  • Fourth of July is the day we became a free nation free from tyranny, free to create our new Constitution, Free to become all we can be without oppressive government and bureaucrats enslaving us.
It was fought and won with a great price…A price too many have taken for granted. A great statement was recently made…Why do those
sacrificing everything to get to this land of America then try to make it like that very country they escaped from?
This Country is a God-given land which we should revere, protect and honor it as God expects us to. If we don’t, theses freedoms, prosperity,
and abundance will be taken away from us. We can only show gratitude for those men & women who sacrificed everything to gain this land & freedoms, by fighting to keep it as they intended.

  • The 4th of July is a celebration of our country’s birth. We were blessed by God with men who fought to keep us free through the years. We remember the sacrifices that they made. We must continue with the legacy that God intended. I want an America that is free and strong that will be passed on to our children. We must get back to our roots and not stray.
