With most children off from school starting April 3rd you’ve got plenty of time to get in some much-needed family adventures in egg hunting. Numerous egg hunts are being held throughout Broward and Miami Dade Counties.

Some are FREE to attend and take part in, others require admission but also give you access to the facility! Broward County Egg Hunts

Annual Egg Hunt – Pembroke Shores Park, 501 SW 172nd Avenue Pembroke Pines, FL 33026

When: Saturday, April 4th – Arrive by 8:30am

Cost: Free!

26,000 Easter eggs! The first 500 children to arrive at this free event will get a complimentary pair of bunny ears. In addition to the Easter egg hunt, there will also be face painting, a bounce house, balloon animals and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!

Annual Egg Hunt – Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, FL 33026

When: Saturday, April 4th – Arrive by 8:30am

Cost: Free!

Annual Coral Ridge Easter Egg Hunt – Jack & Harriet Kaye Park (across the street from George English Park)

When: Saturday, April 4th – 12pm sharp

Cost: Free!

The park will be sectioned off for three separate age groups: 4 years old and younger; 5 – 7 years old; and 8 years old and up. This is a great event for the children of Coral Ridge and a great opportunity to meet your neighbors. Remember to bring your child’s basket and arrive early. The hunt starts at noon sharp and the eggs get scooped up quickly!

Annual Royal Egg Hunt – Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Rd.

When: Saturday, April 4th – 10 a.m. sharp

Cost: Free

Come out to Weston Regional Park for the 2015 Royal Egg Hunt. The egg hunts are for children ages 10 and under and will all begin at 10:00AM SHARP. The egg hunts will be held on baseball fields #1 through #4. There will be over 30,000 candy filled eggs so be sure to bring a basket or bag for collecting! There are a number of “golden” eggs which will get you an additional prize. The eggs are gone in a flash so it is recommended to arrive by 9:15am! After the Egg Hunt, take photos with the Royal Bunny, enjoy the bounce houses and have fun until 12:00 pm!

Miami-Dade County Egg Hunts

Annual Egg Scramble – Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160

When: Saturday, April 4th – 10am – 2pm

Cost: Free for residents & $5 for friends, includes unlimited carnival rides

Enjoy a fun-filled day at the egg scramble full of games, rides, crafts and music. The event will start with our annual egg hunt, promptly at 10am, where participants, ages 12 and under will receive a special bag, and scramble through thousands of beach balls to collect brightly colored eggs, filled with toys and candy. After the egg hunt is over, stay and enjoy hours of fun with crafts, games, music, and carnival rides! You can also visit our Spring Bunnies for a keepsake photo to take home.
