Kindergarten is the new First Grade!
While I didn’t quite push for Em to start reading too early, I’d like to try to get Anabelle on track for Kindergarten next year. School has changed so much since J-bird was in Kindergarten, and now Kindergarten is the new First Grade! If I can make the most important thing my children will ever learn, reading, easier, I am all for it. I see the differences in Anabelle and Em already, and I don’t want her to struggle. Imagine that just 10 minutes a day will get your child reading in only 15 days! Not convinced? Read on to learn more about this new online program from Ucan Courses, download a free 10 Step Cheat Sheet, along with some free training videos.
10 Minutes a Day Will Get Your Child Reading

It gives kids a running start, boosts confidence, and eliminates that overwhelming feeling so many have on the first day of school. Importantly, it puts the parent in the driver’s seat: All you need is 10 minutes a day for 15 days!

Getting them started early is great. I remember really enjoying reading with my mom and it carried over into school where I was quite creative in my “creative writing” assignments we did in elementary school
Cumulatively doing things gets you farther than you think
We have been reading to my five year old grandson ever since he was just a few months old. That boy really loves books too. He goes to the library every week!

An interesting article. Reading is so important and the earlier a child begins gives them a jump start on learning.
Thanks for the tip. I’ve started working with granddaughter to start reading.
