Facebook has been a leader in the social networking game for many years now. Facebook has been around since my college days…back when you had to have a college email address to even have an account. But it’s not just what they are doing online that is awesome, but what they are doing offline! Last October, Facebook launched TechPrep—a free online resource in English and Spanish for parents, guardians and anyone who wants to learn more about computer science.
Have you ever entered a contest that asked you to like a page on Facebook? If you didn’t win, it could be because your settings are set to private. I recently came across an issue that I previously didn’t realize could disqualify me from winning giveaways. I wanted to make sure this never happens to you.
If you, like me, love entering giveaways, then you want to be sure that your Facebook and Twitter are not set to private.
Have you heard the latest news?
Facebook has made some major changes to the way businesses (bloggers) can run promotions using Facebook. You can now run your promotions through your Page Times!
For example, businesses can now:
Collect entries by having users post on the Page or comment/like a Page post
Collect entries by having users message the Page
Utilize likes as a voting mechanism
Read more about the changes and get the full details on the Facebook For Business terms page.
