In continuation of my partnership with Broadway in Fort Lauderdale for the 2016-2017 season comes Disney’s The Little Mermaid Broadway Musical. I was invited to attend the opening night and was excited to bring the entire family with me to see our favorite Disney story live on stage. The 5th Avenue Theater Production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is making a splash in South Florida through March 5, 2017 for a limited two-week run.
The wait is finally over! After a long overdue North American tour, Dirty Dancing is finally back in the States – and right here in South Florida playing at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts through April 24, 2016. I was hosted for media night for Dirty Dancing on the second night of opening because Cabaret (GO SEE IT) is also in town. So much hot and heavy dancing over a two-day period left me a bit parched – and I was just watching. And Dirty Dancing was HOT.
I’ve been a fan of cabaret performances for as long as I can remember. Whenever I have an opportunity to catch one, I jump on it. The last live cabaret style performance I saw was several years back during a vacation in New Orleans, which solidified my slight obsession with cabaret. Needless to say, when I heard that CABARET this musical was coming to Miami I was over the moon.
Want to see the funniest musical comedy to ever hit Broadway? Now’s your chance! Last night I attended the opening night of The Book of Mormon thanks to my continued partnership with Broadway Across America. The countless shows I’ve seen off-Broadway have never stuck with me as much as last years national tour of The Book of Mormon.
There wasn’t an empty seat in the house last night, and I would be willing to bet tickets are selling out pretty quickly.
The Book of Mormon has arrived to South Florida once again to make sure that Floridians everywhere Just Believe! And returning with it is the chance to win the Book of Mormon ticket lottery for only $25 per ticket at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The pre-show lottery is happening once again at the Broward Center box office, making a limited number of highly desired tickets available at $25 apiece – cash only.
