Motown the Musical is finally here!!! And boy am I glad. Last night Papa and I enjoyed a date night at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for opening night of Motown the Musical. I was moving and grooving in my seat as if I was attending a real concert featuring Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5 and so many other fabulous singers.

When I was just a little girl my Mama would take me to see great shows on Broadway. One of the most memorable by far was Annie. I will never forget seeing the little red-headed orphan and wishing that I too could be adopted by Daddy Warbucks.
I wanted to jump up on stage and sing and dance with Annie.
