Annie, America’s most beloved musical is on tour and returning to the Arsht Center from March 3rd to March 5th. Grab your kids and plan a family date night for a night to remember.
The Arsht Center is celebrating its 10th birthday!!! It’s with a big thanks to the Arsht Center for bringing culture and theatre to the South Florida area that I am most thankful for. To celebrate the Arsht Center will be hosting an all day event of free performances, fun activities and family-friendly programing.
Opening night of Motown The Musical happened last night and had everyone, including myself, dancing in their seats. When I saw Motown last year I loved it from beginning to end, so when I was invited back to see it again I couldn’t say no. I was excited to see Motown listed for the 2015-2016 season of Broadway in Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Who better to tell the story of how some of America’s best music came to be than the singers themselves.
I am about to shock you, so please take a seat. I have NEVER seen The Sound of Music – nope, not even the movie. I almost didn’t accept the opening night invitation to see the musical. At the last-minute I decided to go and I am so THANKFUL I did! The Sound of Music is truly a one of a kind musical – and I’ve heard the movie is just as amazing – but the cast is what truly made this musical what it is.
If your little ones breath, sleep and eat Disney, then they are in for a real treat. Likely they’ve seen the movies, the characters in person, maybe even been to Disney World itself. But to be able to embrace the music, oh the magical music from the movies with Disney In Concert is a pleasure for the senses.
