Reconnecting with friends is as simple as bringing everyone together for a Sobremesa, it's the after-meal table talk that opens the conversation.

Sobremesa – A Time to Reconnect with Friends over Coffee!

Disclosure: Thank you to NESCAFÉ Clásico for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to make the moment happen and reconnect with my friend over a sobremesa! All opinions are 100% my own.

It seems as if time is passing by quicker, and it’s not waiting for us to catch up. The kids are getting older, hours seems to get longer, days get shorter, and there never seems to be enough time to just sit and enjoy life. I sometimes find myself spending “working” that I don’t get out to enjoy the fresh air enough.

It’s definitely not intentional but it happens – a week or two passes by and I realize I haven’t seen or spoken to a certain friend. So I’ll send a text or make a call, but I realize it’s just never the same as being face to face with friends, catching up on life. It’s the reason I enjoy hosting friends at my house, even if it’s just a quick visit to shoot the breeze over some cafecito.

Sobremesa – A Time to Reconnect with Friends over Coffee

The time together is really about sharing moments con mi amigas. Since I already always make enough food to feed a small army, having a few friends over to join mi familia at dinner is a pleasure. And while great conversation happens over dinner, it’s really the sobremesa – after meal chat – that allows us to unwind and really give our friends our full attention.

Serving NESCAFÉ® CLÁSICO™ after dinner allows time for your food to settle while you catch up on whats new in your friends life. There is something special about coffee that lightens the mood, allows for extra laughs and more time with those you care for most. NESCAFÉ Clásico has a rich, bold, unique taste and is a familiar “cafecito” that we all know and love from home.

If you’ve ever hosted friends for dinner and closed with table talk over coffee, then you’ve had a Sobremesa…if you’ve ever gone out to meet friends over coffee, then you’ve had a Sobremesa. If you’ve ever grabbed coffee with a friend and took a walk in the park, then you’ve had a Sobremesa – minus the “mesa”. I created a little video so you can see for yourself just how simple it is to enjoy a sobremesa with NESCAFÉ Clásico.

NESCAFÉ Clásico is 100% pure coffee, made from a blend of selected coffee beans, carefully roasted to capture its full flavor and aroma, and comes in sizes small and large, as well as a 7 count stick pack for your on-the-go sobremesa! It doesn’t matter where or how you enjoy your sobremesa, a cup of coffee helps to make that moment better.

You can have sobremesa without coffee, but it won’t be as fun. Create your own “sobremesa experiment” with and without coffee. Check out the Nescafe Sobremesa Experiment video to see the difference!

  • I have had Nescafe coffee before and it is a really good brand, my mother buys it all the time. I love having coffee with a friend or family member after dinner. You sit and talk and share secrets… It’s a great way to connect with someone you really care about.
