Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Karisma Hotels blows you away with a one-of-a-kind Nickelodeon filled experience at the brand new Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. If you thought that the Nickelodeon Experience that was recently added to the Azul Sensatori in Mexico was amazing, then you are in for a real sweet treat. Emily keeps asking to go back to the “turtle” hotel and has made it well-known that is where she wants to spend her next birthday. Fulfilling that birthday wish is going to be a breeze since kids stay free through 2017. With so much to do for the kids, and parents, Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Punta Cana is our newest Kid Approved Family Vacation spot!

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? If you answered Spongebob Squarepants, then you my friend need to book your next vacation at Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Repubic. Need some peace and quiet? No worries, the property provides for everything parents need to relax – once you’ve dropped the little ones off at the Just Kiddin’ clubhouse that is. Want to splash around or wind down in the lazy river with the kiddos? Hop on over to Aqua Nick – the ultimate Nickelodeon Aqua Park will keep the entire family entertained all day long.

Upon arrivals the kids are with a Slime smoothie…and the parents are invited to unwind with a welcome glass of champagne and cool towel. Keep an eye out for your favorite Nickelodeon characters who love to pop into the lobby to greet guests!

Emily and I took a private tour of Spongebob’s house – The Pineapple – and she was simply in awe. The “it” place to stay, The Pineapple is a one of a kind free-standing suite with 2,200 square feet of space, houses its own PRIVATE swimming pool and is outfitted just perfectly with its jellyfish lamps, no detail too small. Did I mention it comes with its own personal butler? But if you are like me and afraid such luxury might keep you from exploring the resort I definitely suggest booking a Swim-Up Suite – which is exactly what it sounds like, a spacious suite room with its very own connected swimming pool. Side note: Ask for the building with the connected swim-up bar – perfection at its finest!

Feeling hungry and lazy? No problem…pick up the phone and food will be delivered right to your door via the 24-hour room service. Otherwise you can just pick one of 10 Gourmet Inclusive® restaurants, two Gourmet Corners, four bars and lounges, or the Doppio Coffee Shop from which to eat at. It’s the narrowing down of where and what to eat that will be the hardest decision.

The character breakfast is a ton of fun for kids and parents alike. A buffet breakfast with made to order omelets, alongside all of your favorite Nickelodeon characters. Fun, music and dancing keep this breakfast moving and shaking. The kids all get a chance to take picture with Spongebob, Paw-Patrol and more.

There are several pools to choose from, including a beautiful infinity pool that looks out onto the beach. Cabanas are available by reservation on the beach for a day of play in the sand. The kids love the wadding pool – slides and all! I think my favorite pool was the one with the swim-up I mentioned before, which also serves food! When you are ready to unwind after a day of fun – book an appointment at the Vassa Spa. I sent the hubby off for a massage and started to worry he may never come back. He pretty much passed out when he returned to the room for being so relaxed. Note to self: Send self to spa instead…

Nickelodeon Place was the it place to be for the kids. They simply didn’t want to ever have to leave the Just Kiddin’ clubhouse. I don’t blame them, unlimited access to all the Nickelodeon toys you can imagine, arts and crafts, ice cream making, a tree house and a ball pit. Yea, they would have moved in if permitted. For older kids (or the husbands) there are Xbox’s and PlayStation’s.

We can’t wait to see our favorite Nickelodeon friends again, Emily really wants to head back for her 5th birthday so I’m checking out the current specials like the Kids Inclusive – kids stay free through 2017 – and planning to book that swim-up suite I mentioned earlier. While the kids are splashing around at Aqua Nick with Papa, I think I will head on over to check out the spa for myself this time.

Your stay includes the Gourmet Inclusive® Experience, with complete a la carte dining, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, full-service concierge, and 24-hour room service. SpongeBob, Dora and a generous splash of Slime are waiting for you at a fantastic location on the golden sands of Uvero Alto beach. Call 1-844-733-NICK to book your next vacation!
