See that symbol in the middle with the eye, that’s the Eye of Horus. Little known fact – I have the Eye of Horus tattooed on the inner wrist of my right hand. Many moons ago I wanted one of those evil eye thwarting necklaces. Thing is, you can’t buy it for yourself – and no matter how many hints I dropped, no one seemed to be understanding me. So I did the next best thing, I got a tattoo. While it’s not exactly the traditional looking blue eye, it is blue and I had it custom designed after the Eye of Horus which is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power and good health. The eye is personified in the goddess Wadjet. These Gods of Egypt themed crafts and recipe will get your ready for any Egyptian themed party.
